What I've Been Doing (Episode 2)

Hello everyone, it has been far too long! Sorry about the lack of the blog last week, I honestly wasn't really doing much media-wise that week! And I apologize for the delay this week as well. While I still haven't really been doing much again this week, I think there are some worth-while things this week, so without further ado, let episode 2 commence!

What I've Been Playing - Week Two

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360) - Well, look who it is, showing up almost two weeks later. That's right. Black Ops is still taking up most of my time two weeks later. It is so addicting, it just doesn't seem to ever get old. Luckily, I am getting into much more than just team deathmatch now. While I still play my fair share of team deathmatch and combat training, I am also really enjoying things like wager match's gun game and the classic Search & Destroy I so loved in Modern Warfare 2. I really sort of ignored the wager match modes in my first week of playing which is a shame because it really offers a lot of fun to the game. I attempted to get back into the campaign and finish it (yes, I am ashamed to admit I still have yet to complete the campaign mode), but I just keep getting too into the multiplayer to want to even put in some hours in the campaign. It will get done eventually, though.
Possibly a review in the future? Yes.

  • Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (GameCube) - I have actually just recently been trying to get my mom into some kind of game. She really likes Tetris Party Deluxe on the Wii and I thought this would be a good game to get her into gaming, but it doesn't look like it. The game is fantastic and I might just play some myself after posting this, but she doesn't seem to be getting into it. I'm going to keep on trying, though, and I am also anxious to get back into this game some more.
Possibly a review in the future? Yes, but not anytime soon.

What I've Been Watching - Week One

  • The Apprentice (TV) - The Apprentice is ironically one of the only TV shows that I watch that are still on air and one of those shows that I have to watch every episode as it comes out to be satisfied with myself. The series has been great, but I still think the first season was better and that Celebrity Apprentice was a more entertaining TV series overall. Still, the ending was very disappointing and I thought the winner didn't really deserve to win as much as the other finalist, but that's just my opinion. I look forward to the next season.
Possibly a review in the future? Yes, but not anytime soon.

Well everyone, that concludes episode two of What I've Been Doing! As always, be sure to leave a comment telling what you have been playing and/or watching lately and stay tuned for next week to see what I've been up to then! Thanks for reading and have a nice Monday.

What I've Been Doing (Episode 1)

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new "blog series" of mine called What I've Been Doing! This series will take place every Sunday, so be sure to check back each week to see what I've been up to! Basically, I will be going over what I've been playing as well as watching each week! That way, you can know what I've been up to as well as possible future reviews on the website! I wouldn't mind if fellow staff member Eric as well as you readers joined in on the fun by telling me what you've been playing and watching lately; in fact, I highly urge you to if you wouldn't mind sharing. Without further ado, let's get things started with week one!

What I've Been Playing - Week One

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360) - This game has most definitely taken up the most time out of everything listed here. Last week I was really involved in the Zombies mode, but this week has definitely had more of a focus on Combat Training and normal Multiplayer (Team Deathmatch and Free-for-All in particular). As of right now, I am a level 22 on online multiplayer and I still have a TON of things to unlock. The game's CoD points really keep you coming back to unlock all of the attachments and killstreaks.
Possibly a review in the future? Yes.

  • Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii) - Suprisingly, I have only gotten to the middle of the second world so far. Maybe it's because Black Ops has taken up so much of my time, but I just haven't been able to get into this game as much as I should be. The game is definitely great so far, but I still have a lot to go.

Possibly a review in the future? Maybe.

What I've Been Watching - Week One

  • Aladdin (Film) - I have been in a classic Disney mood lately and I had truly had forgotten how great a movie this is. From the classic tunes to the classic storyline, this movie is one I can find myself coming back to watch ten years from now. I won't say too much though, you'll have to stay tuned for my review for more.
Possibly a review in the future? Definitely.

  • Aladdin: The Return of Jafar (Film) - Since I'd decided to watch all three of the Aladdins recently, this one was next in line. Another great movie, but I am only half way through it at the moment because, well, I watch movies at night most of the time; so if I am tired I turn the TV off or just don't continue it to begin with. But, I do have it paused and I can't wait to dive back in.
Possibly a review in the future? Yes.

The Moths' Future

So I've been thinking about the future of Media Moths. Will it become successful or will it crash and burn? Will we need to hire more staff? If so, how many? How soon? Were the blogs a good idea? How often will we update? Will people leave some comments? Will we ever find a good membership feature?

So many thoughts of the website circle in my head
I think about the future,
As I just recently rolled out of bed.

Do we realize what we're getting into?
Did we make enough preparation?
Do people like the site?
Oh, the anticipation!

I love to get comments no matter what I do.
So, if you wouldn't mind why not post one, or two?
Whether it be for me or for you,
The feedback is appreciated.

We're not looking for all-time popularity.
Sure that would be nice, I could dilly.
But, we aren't going to shamelessly advertise.
That would be quite silly.

Now, I may be a little rusty- I'm not the best poet.
But, don't worry- there will be more updates before you know it.
